Susan the gold fish gets on the radio

I made a major commitment this week and bought a goldfish along with my housemates.  I’ve called mine Susan after Ms Sarandon because she is more red than the others with slightly goggly eyes.  Our goldfish have since become famous with a mention on live radio (well it’s not going to be pre-recorded is it rach?(er if you are wondering who it is that keeps criticising the text of Rachel in the third person- well it’s just my super-ego going berserk, weird eh?) ).  So there’s two things to burble on about here:

POSH where did it come from?  The origin of the word is obscure. The first recorded use of the word was in the British satirical magazine Punch on 25 September 1918, although an earlier possible reference uses the word push. The OED records a definition of the word as a noun from 1890, meaning “a dandy”.
