Are you posh or not?

Friday, March 30th, 2007

Now, a lot of you have met me, and a lot of you have spoken to me on the phone. So you’re not going into this having never met me – am I posh? This became the topic of conversation at lunch time. Jess, one time Laundry lady, rates people’s poshness on a scale of how many ponies she thinks they should own. Apparently, I rate at 1.5 ponies, which is relatively high – you have to be posh to even register on the scale in the first place.

A mouse in my house!

Monday, March 26th, 2007

My granny would complain that my indifference to tea made me very un-British; she’d try and bribe me into drinking it with a couple of Bakewell tarts or a French Fancy.

Well I can confirm that it’s not just a tunnel, there’s a theatre, a car park and a bridge. Ooh and a train station) and apart from a constant refrain of ‘Fame! I’m gonna live forever’ running round my head (and an urge to jump in the air and touch my toes like the guy on the poster) it’s also got me thinking about claims to fame.
