Witch Craft

We’ve gone to town this week; Harry has been busy doing some illustrator fiddling and lookee here. We have created a poster that explains exactly how the Laundry works for you to print off and stick in a clever place, maybe behind the reception desk, maybe by the Laundry bin*, the work notice board or places that people actually look at, like out of the window??

This means that you lovely recycling heroes can go on holiday without the constant fretting “but how will my colleagues** remember to put out the Laundry?” and you can enjoy your sangria in peace (or should that be Cornish pasty?). Also if you leave your job with a pocket full of highlighters and a briefcase full of industrial secrets, the poster will be your Laundry legacy – keep the paper coming.

*yes we do bins to keep your blue bags tidy

The Laundry gets crafty (or it’s all about me)

First of all, hold the phone; it was my birthday on Saturday. The Laundry got creative and made me the double whammy of a card:

and a cake with my favourite nickname on it

Also this week, Harriet, feeling craftily inspired found this website to keep Phillipa one of our launderers happy while she waits for more blue bags:

ORIGAMI TIPS

And look what lovely Phillipa sent back

Suddenly crafts are no longer confined to playgroups and the WI, they’re all over the twentysomethingplace. My sister and her gang have been making some pipe cleaner fun, I realised 2 years ago that pipe cleaners were for cleaning pipes, not just for making the blue peter advent look more special, does that make me special? Housemate Hannah and I got stickertastic, I know umpteen knitters. Feeling inspired I’ve done a search for you of some top craft websites:

highhopes.com/maverickboats you can have look at them sailing on “Stream near little big cheek rock”

Also this is my absolute favourite that Kathleen sent me; people without slightly childish sense of humour may frown, but we turn that frown upside-down with:
