To get to know our Rachel and Harry a bit better we thought this week we’d quiz ourselves on some of life’s important quandaries…
Perhaps you lovely Laundry lot would like to post some of your answers to these burning and most original questions, or even ask us to answer some of your own below.
Chocolate or Ice cream?
Harry: Definitely ice-cream- it’s cold and tasty and makes your head ache if you eat it too fast. Now it’s so sad, my new flat has no freezer- so it’s no ice cream or the whole tub. Hmm, what’s it to be.
Rach: chocolate, I love chocolate, but not as much as tea, mmmm tea.
Bikini or swimming cozzie?
Harry: Actually I reckon cozzies are more unflattering that bikini’s so bikinis it is, yep bikinis. Just keep saying it and it won’t be that bad..
Rach: Well bikini, but would rather all in one body suit with built in svelte maker
Country or the city?
Harry: Not any city but definitely this city.
Rach: Oh argh, both, at different times. I want to go to a restaurant and play, then walk through the hill tops all in one night - probs want to move to Edinburgh then eh?
Beachy break or culture vulture?
Harry: Oh I’m soo longing for a beach at the mo- fishes, and paddling and sand between the toes!!
Rach: Culture vulture, art galleries, museums, monasteries all taken in
Bus or tube?
Harry: Bus, bus, bus. Views and no claustrophobia- a winner all round!
Rach: BUS, you get to see the city and avoid rage at people not moving down inside the carriage, ever.
Bar or pub?
Harry: Pubs for cider—bars for wine. Or restaurants where you get snide looks for only ordering wine…
Rach: Pub, with real ale and smelly carpets
Ham or cheese?
Harry: Cheeeeeeeeeeesssseeeee!
Rach: Cheese’s so many flavours
Chalk or cheese?
Rach: Chalk, can’t make street art with cheese
Harry: Need I say it again?
Pickle or mayonnaise (talking sandwiches, here)?
Rach: Pickle, anything with a tang
Harry: Cheese and Pickle sandwiches rule OK?
Ketchup or Mayonnaise (chips, chips, chips)?
Rach: Mayonnaise, although I’ve decided I just don’t like chips, they are boring.
Harry: Ketchup! My bloke has totally eroded my sense of what is appropriate when it comes to ketchup- caught myself trying to put in on quiche the other day- euuurrrghh!
Love
Harriet and The Laundry

Chocolate or Ice cream?
chocolate. it’s more ‘keep in your handbag’ friendly
Bikini or swimming cozzie?
tankini. best of both worlds
Country or the city?
the city. spent 22 years in the country and got a bit fed up.
Beachy break or culture vulture?
city’s with beaches! like barcelona, or vancouver.
Bus or tube?
bus, all the way. cheaper, better view, and more chance of a seat.
Bar or pub?
pub. altogether more comfy.
Ham or cheese?
cheese, but only in it’s melted state. like fondue.
Chalk or cheese?

Chocolate or Ice cream?
Ice Cream. On my holiday just now I had a Milka ice cream. Milka is my favourite chocolate and in an ice cream: now you’re talkin’!
Bikini or swimming cozzie?
Bikini for the beach; swimmim cozzie for the municipal chlorine pit.
Country or the city?
The coun’ry I reckon. I like to be as c h i l l e d as possible. Maybe festivals are my favourite cos it’s like a well chilled town in the countryside with the perks of both.
Beachy break or culture vulture?
Got to agree with Philippa: both please! Although rivers in interesting cities also win.
Bus or tube?
Honk honk! The bus please (but not the chicken-leg fest that is the number 73)
Bar or pub?
Pubs for definite. Pints of wine never look good in a bar but perfectly acceptable in a pub.
Ham or cheese?
Cheese, the blue stuff.
Chalk or cheese?
Chalk. I have blackboards all over my flat for chalky expressions of poetic silliness.
Pickle or mayonnaise (talking sandwiches, here)?
Pickle pickle pickle, homemade pickle from BedZed VegZed made from rhubarb and marrows. MMmmmmmm…i’m dribbling at the thought of it…
Ketchup or Mayonnaise (chips, chips, chips)?
Mayonnaise. Pickle is my ketchup. Big up to Philippa for her quest though - my fella on the same quest actually. Looking forward to the outcome but slightly scared about the amount of sugar that’s going to go into it…
